Peter J. D’Arruda, MRFC®, RICP®, is President of the IARFC (International Association of Registered Financial Consultants), an Investment Advisor, fiduciary, and has been in the financial arena for over 25 years. He founded Capital Financial to help his clients “Cross the street of life.“ He and his team strive to help their clients take the worry out of living in retirement. Known as “COACH PETE” to most of his clients and radio show listeners, Coach Pete’s lifetime goal is to assist his clients in achieving the levels of success they desire.
He has authored 6 books and co-authored 2. Two of his books have reached the best-sellers list on Amazon. The most noteworthy book, Successonomics, is one that Coach Pete co-authored with Steve Forbes. But, by far, his favorite book just happens to be his most recent, “7 Baby Steps to a ridiculously Reliable Retirement Income”. He has just been named to the prestigious Forbes Leadership Council and will be submitting at least 6 articles a year to Forbes for their readers’ print and web enjoyment. He is a graduate from The University of North Carolina.
He is a proud father of daughter, Caroline, age 11 with his wife, Kim.

A graduate of Campbell University with a Bachelors degree in Trust and Wealth Management, minor in Financial Planning and a Masters in Business Administration.
Born and raised in Apex, Parker has been apart of the community all his life. He enjoys spending time with his family as well as working and volunteering around various community associations.
Marty is a Retirement & Wealth Strategist and he has 25 years of experience overseeing client investment portfolios that are based on a personalized account planning, risk minimization, disciplined professional money management and tax efficient retirement income planning. Marty specializes in protecting wealth that clients have already accumulated and establishing plans to meet future income goals in retirement.
Marty received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, where he also received a 4-year basketball scholarship to play for the legendary coach, Dean Smith.
LeeAnn has 20 years experience in building both business and client relationships. Her careful attention to detail and emphasis on listening to clients wants and need, allows her to develop tailor-made retirement income plans.

LeeAnn received her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Lynchburg College. She is a licensed agent in North Carolina for Life, Health, Medicare Supplement and Long Term Care.
LeeAnn has lived in Apex for the last 13 years and has one son. When not living on a baseball or football field watching her son play, she enjoys time with family and friends as well as volunteering for several local organizations and enjoys traveling and reading.
Daniela, Director of Client Relations, is our multi-talented client expert, who is passionate about taking on new challenges, energizing our team, and continued day-to-day success both inside and outside of the office.
She uses her impeccable organizational skills to ensure a productive environment encouraging staff development, training, and enhanced customer service awareness. She continually looks for opportunities to keep us moving forward and ensuring client satisfaction.
Her professional career started after a brief stint in the US Marine Corps. On any given day, she serves as Business Development Representative, Receptionist, Office Manager, Bookkeeper, Office Administrator, Event Planner, Graphic Designer and Interior Decorator.
As Director of Radio Relations, Joanna Whitfield assists our callers as they transition to clients.
With 25 years of business experience in client and customer service in both the public and private sectors, Joanna loves to help people. Her ability to connect with, evaluate, and communicate their needs to our staff, helps us in providing excellent client care. Marketing, Social Networking, Leadership and Business Development, Office Administration and Personnel Management are also areas that she is skilled in.
Joanna received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a minor in Human Resources from Liberty University. She is a licensed agent in North Carolina for Life, Health, Medicare Supplement, and Long Term Care.
Born in Goldsboro, NC, Joanna has lived there for most of her life. She has a daughter, son, and grandson. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and going to the beach.
